Documentaries
The Foundation has organised the following National and International Seminars:
1.
Gujjars of Jammu and Kashmir, A 30 minute Documentary Film (supported by the Department of Culture and Tourism, Government of India,)completed in 2000.
2.
Architechtural Heritage of Temples of Jammu, A 30 minute Documentary Film (supported by the Department of Culture, Ministry of Tourism and Culture,) completed in 2002.
3. Shrines and Pilgrimages of Kashmir, 40 minute Documentary Film (supported by the Ministry of Culture) completed in 2006. This documentary showcases the major shrines and places of pilgrimage in Kashmir, highlighting its ethos of composite cultural heritage and religious tolerance. This documentary was screened at an for the first time ever in an International Film Festival being held in Jammu and Kashmir.

Exhibitions
1.

The Clossal Buddhas and the Ancient Buddhist Haritage of Bumiyan
Six-days Exhibition (15-20 September 2001) of unique photographs paintings, lithographs etc. organised in collaboration with the Archeological Survey of India at the India International Centre Art Gallery (Annexe) on the theme The Clossal Buddhas and the Ancient Buddhist Heritage of Bamiyan.

The Mountain Mystries:
Organised an exhibition of paintings by well-known Indian artist Suman Gupta entitled The Mountain Mysteries at the Palais des Nations, United Nations Office at Geneva (Switzerland) from 5 to 16 August 2002. The exhibition which was presented under the patronage of the Mission of Mongolia in Geneva to mark the International Year of Mountains, was attended by several diplomats, UN Officials, delegates participating at the UN Sub-Commission for Human Rights, art critics and art lovers form Geneva and adjoining cities. The exhibition was inaugurated by Mr. Sergei Ordzhonikidze, the Director General of the UNOG at the Palais des Nations. The paintings clearly brought home the social and cultural dimensions of mountains, which were at the centre of the International Year of Mountains. Among other key figures present on the occasion included Prof. K. Warikoo, Secretary General of the Himalayan Research and Cultural Foundation, Mr. Khasbazar Bekhbat, Ambassador of Mongolia in Geneva, Mr. Pierre Pelou, the Chief of the Exhibitions Committee at the UNOG, Mr. Vladimir Petrovsky, former Director General of the UNOG at Geneva, Ambassador of Canada to the UN, Chief of Security, Chief of Information, Chief of Support Services all at the UN and many other senior diplomats and press correspondents.

3. Sounds of Eurasia: Cultural Festival in Buryatia Republic of Russia
Organised the Cultural Festival in association with the Siberian Academy of Culture and Arts, Buryatia Republic of the Russian Federation at Ulan Ude from 25 September to 1 October 2007, a group of Indian Musicians (Mrs. Savita Bakshi – Sitar, Mr. R. K. Majumdar – Santoor, Mr. Anil Kaul – Tabla, Mr. Rakesh Anand – Flute/Bansuri and Mr. Ravinder Kaul - Comperer) which was led by Prof. K. Warikoo, Secretary General of Himalayan Research and Cultural Foundation.
4. Hungarian Explorers and Travellers in India
Organized an exhibition of photographs and publications on Hungarian Explorers and Travellers in India in association with Hungarian Information and Cultureal Centre, New Delhi and Hungarian Geographical Museum, ERD on 3-4 October 2007 at New Delhi.
